I am currently collaborating with a faculty member from the University of Toronto to conduct an evaluative community-based research study in three Manitoulin Island and North Shore (Ontario) schools on First Nations Reserves.
Restorative Schools: Creating a Culture of Care
I am currently working on this project with my SDS colleague, Professor Kristina Llewellyn, who is a Co-Investigator on this evaluative research study in twelve schools in the Waterloo Catholic District School Board.
Refugees and Canada: Narratives of Hope and Resilience
This project is focused on a book project that documents personal narratives and experiences about the refugee experience in Canada. It includes first-person accounts of refugees, refugee activists, front-line workers in support agencies, private sponsors, civil servants, policy makers, and officials in the refugee processing system.
